J was randomly browsing Facebook yesterday night and came across the Valentine’s Day posts. Seeing the pics of our friends exchanging gifts and writing lovey dovey posts, he J: I wanted to surprise you with something on Valentine’s Day Coming from a person who has never arranged a surprise or has zero patience for choosing… Continue reading Day 97 – Valentine’s Day
Yesterday was a day I clocked 10k+ steps. After the hike and a nap, we headed out for a VIP movie experience in a private balcony seating where food was served in our seats while enjoying Jumanji. Enjoyed curling up in companion seats and watching the movie.
And just like that, the second month of 2018 is here. February is going to be a busy month for J. Which means, I gotta equip myself to spend more time with myself. Thank you so much to everybody who wished us on yesterday’s post.I usually make a video for our wedding anniversary with pics and… Continue reading Day 85 – Hello February
Dear J The other day somebody asked me how we manage our disagreements. This got me thinking. You have been extremely patient with my tantrums and have stood still through good and extremely ugly days. I do not know how you put me first and make my comfort a priority ALWAYS. ❤ Many call me selfish… Continue reading Day 84 – On turning 3
These are very refreshing wordings, aren’t they. Have been thinking of putting this on the wall. Today was the day. Printed this out. Stuck black washi tape to look like it’s framed 😉. Hit in four 📌 and tada.. PS – Post production work by J who thought black and white was not cool. 🤦♀️
Over the years, I have learned that the productivity of this household is directly proportional to how messed up my mood is. 🤪 Today was one such day. I was in a bad mood. One thing led to another and we ended up crossing swords ⚔️ We did not have any communication during the day.… Continue reading Day 69 – Productivity
It’s already a week into 2018 and I finally got time to sit down and think of the year that went by. It has been quite an eventful year. The year started with a massive winter and record high snowfall followed by an extended summer. The highlight of the year was undoubtedly my parents visiting… Continue reading Day 65 – Looking back at 2017

J came home with a box of toffees today. It seems a colleague baked and brought a bunch as Christmas gift for all. As he thought I too will like it, he went and asked for a second serving to bring me. He does this often (almost always) to a level that I am embarrassed… Continue reading Day 48 – Toffee
J had a team lunch today at Olive Garden to bid farewell to somebody who is moving. I wanted him to work from home today as there were a couple of things to be fixed, some customer care calls to be made (which is not available on weekends) and I was not feeling well. He… Continue reading Day 38 – The breadsticks
We woke up to our first snow of the year. Though the mountains around us were having a fine covering of snow for some time now, this is the first snow in our area. Though we are not big fans of the season, I enjoy the first few days. On seeing white flakes covering the… Continue reading Day 33 – First snow
Brrrr.. The temperature dropped suddenly this week and it is freezing cold here. The temperature didn’t rise beyond 2° today. The heater was running for most part of the day. We had bread and nutella for breakfast as I was lazy to get up and cook. I had leftovers for lunch. I thought of making… Continue reading Day 30 – Frozen
This message on the teabag bought a smile on my face.. How lucky are we to live this life. Inspite of having everything, we often overlook them and complain about what’s not there. This message on the teabag made us all philosophical this evening 😆. It made us count our blessings. Life’s little reminders! Stay… Continue reading Day 21- Little reminders
