Day 47 of 100 Happy Days – Christmas lights

Happiness is Christmas lights.

Christmas is just 3 weeks away and each and every house in our neighborhood is decorated in Christmas theme. Same is the case with shops, govt offices and even roads. Christmas tree, christmas lights, santa claus, snowman, reindeer and gifts everywhere.. We are planning to buy a tree once we settle down in India. We bought a set of Christmas lights ysday though.

We have decorated our front window and have hung the Christmas wreath with the fabric Santa. I glued my snowman to a fridge magnet and he is sitting on the freezer door.. I made an origami santa too the other day, from the leftover origami paper from class.

I, and even Jay, never knew he was interested in decorations. We bought it for my pleasure, but it was Jay who decorated the window. It was a new learning about ourselves for us. He has never done anything of this sort and he himself never knew how interested he is in this! 🙂

This evening we too a walk to the park. We literally stood infront of some houses and enjoyed the decorations. Each house is as good as the other. Some have decorated the bushes and the fence too.. It was a feast for the eyes..

Waiting for Christmas now..
